About Suzy Ware Studio

While I have always done creative things for work and play, I had never painted.  My husband and I owned a craft store for many years where I learned and tried every craft, I worked for an importer designing Christmas merchandise and later designed merchandise for a manufacturing business we owned.  I always wanted to watercolor but was afraid of it, probably because of that awful class I took in college, but nearing retirement and looking for a new creative outlet I broke down a few years ago and signed up for a painting class.  I found my new passion.  I am fascinated by the colors, the mixing, the layering, and the flow of the paint.

While I love painting florals, wildlife, and landscapes I really missed crafting things, so I put the studio we built many years ago to good use by combining my new passion for watercolor with past crafting experience into one of a kind jewelry, ornaments, and 3-D Art pieces.   Every piece is hand painted and hand crafted by me.  I hope you enjoy it.

My husband and I are recently retired and living in Arlington, Texas.  I enjoy my free time and creative endeavors and I also love reading and gardening, and especially spending time with my family and beautiful granddaughters.
